The land

Temperate plateau studded with castle ruins — rolling mountains averaging 800m, deep forests, lakes used in summer and frozen in winter.

The High Tatras dominate the upper-centre, with castle-ruin marks scattered across the forested plateau. The Danube bends across the southern edge.
