Listen & repeat
Adjective agreement
Adjectives end in -a and agree with nouns in number and case: granda urbo, grandaj urboj, grandan urbon. They usually come before the noun, but may follow for emphasis: urbo granda.
Flexible word order
Subject–verb–object is common, but -n marks the object clearly, so Mi legas libron = Libron mi legas. Adverbs often come first for topic: Hodiaŭ mi laboras.
