Federal Assembly general election
Federal Assembly (100 seats) · Thursday, 13 March 2031
The second Federal Assembly general election under the current constitutional frame, four years on from 11 March 2027. All 100 seats are contested across the four regions by closed-list proportional representation. The campaign will be shaped by the legacy of the 2027 Suffrage Question and Youth Charter resolutions, the economic record of whichever coalition governed 2027–2031, and the first full cycle in which any newly enfranchised voters — virtual citizens or fifteen-to-seventeen-year-olds — may participate, depending on what was settled before the 2027 voter roll closed.
