Judicial convocation. The Federal Court of Zandoria announces oral arguments in Carcamo v. Federal Electoral Commission, scheduled for 14 September 2026 at 10:00 local time in Meridian. The case concerns the constitutional eligibility of virtual citizens to vote in federal elections. Written briefs from all parties are due by 31 August 2026.

Statistical release. The Federal Statistical Office reports that real gross domestic product grew 2.3 per cent in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the same quarter in 2025. Inflation stood at 1.8 per cent year-over-year. The report is available at the Statistical Office's public portal.

Regulatory notice. The Federal Electoral Commission announces a thirty-day public-comment period on proposed amendments to the Federal Electoral Code, Title IV (ballot-access procedures for candidates and parties). Comments must be submitted by 22 September 2026 through the Commission's online portal or in writing to the Director.

Appointment. The Federal Assembly's Constitutional Committee has confirmed Dr. Helena Marin, University of Meridian, to a three-year term as constitutional adviser to the Committee, effective 1 September 2026. Dr. Marin will provide research and analysis on matters before the Committee, including the proposed Youth Charter amendment.

Public comment. The Federal Civic Affairs Ministry opens a forty-five-day comment period on draft regulations implementing the Esperanto Charter naturalisation process, effective 1 January 2027. The draft is available on the Ministry's website; comments are due by 7 October 2026.

Tender. The Federal Translation Centre invites sealed bids for the provision of simultaneous interpretation services in all four regional working languages for the Federal Assembly's plenary sessions during the 2026–2027 session. Bid documents are available from the Centre's procurement office; bids are due by 15 September 2026.
